Road condition from Kathmandu to Muktinath:
The road from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which is a popular tourist destination is well-paved
and relatively well-maintained, but can be congested with traffic, particularly in and
around Pokhara. From Pokhara, the road to Muktinath is more challenging and often
requires a four-wheel-drive vehicle. The road is narrow, winding, and mountainous, with
loose gravel and rocks, and can become quite slippery in wet weather.
